After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.

Traffic jam means a situation on the roads when the vehicles can neither go forward not can move back. This congestion of vehicles happen for many reasons. The main reason is that the number of vehicles is more then the capacity of the roads. The vehicles are parked on the road and the passenger buses stop in the middle of the road for the passengers to get in or get down. The walkways are occupied by vendors and shopkeepers and the people do not use foot over bridges and they cross the road at any point any time creating disturbance to traffic movement. This is a common problem to all the big city. The problem is acute and very difficult to solve. But of course, it is not impossible to get rid of traffic jam. The traffic jam can be eased by adopting the following measures. The unauthorized infrastructure and vendors on the roads of stand for a long time. The buses should not stop here and there except for the designated bus stops for the passengers to get in or get down. The people should not be allowed to walk on the road, cross the road at any point any time. They should be forced to use the foot over bridges to cross the road. The traffic rules, signals and systems must be strictly enforced and followed for ensuring a systematic movement of vehicles. The construction materials like bricks, sand, bamboos and should not be kept on roads. The rubbish, garbage or wastes should not be allowed to be dumped on the road. All the above measures can be taken within the existing traffic rules and spending a moderate amount of money. But the most important things needed are the commitment of the law enforcers and positive outlook of the people in the government.
